7 Sisters

The "Seven Sisters of India" refer to the seven northeastern states of India, which include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. These states are known for their unique cultural heritage, stunning natural beauty, and diverse ethnic communities.   The Seven Sisters are bordered by Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, and Myanmar, and are connected to the rest of India by a narrow strip of land known as the Siliguri Corridor. Despite being geographically isolated from the rest of India, the Seven Sisters are an important part of the country, both culturally and politically.     Arunachal Pradesh: Known as the "Land of the Rising Sun", Arunachal Pradesh is the easternmost state in India. It is home to numerous indigenous tribes, including the Khasi, Jaintia, and Garo.   Mizoram: Mizoram is a mountainous state known for its natural beauty and unique culture. It is home to the Mizo people, who are known for their intricate handloom and handicrafts. Mizoram is also famous for its wildlife, including the endangered Hoolock gibbon.   Nagaland: Nagaland is known for its vibrant culture and stunning landscapes, including the Dzukou Valley and the Japfu Peak.
